I
had a great summer, hanging with my wife and three
kids. We took a family trip to Mexico, visited my family in Detroit, went to the library a lot, and played a ton of baseball and softball. I read a lot about World War II, started a new series of books by Brad Thor, and tough a lot about this upcoming school year!
No doubt about it - I love history, and I love traveling. The big highlight of my summer was heading to England and France to learn about D-Day and World War II. You can check out my travels at my travel bolg for the Footsteps of Overlord.

My favorite movie scene? The final home run in The Natural ... when the lights explode as he runs the bases, and then reflect in the manager's glasses ..
