THE CIVIL WAR - 1863-1865 - BATTLE MAPS
For each of the battles, your task is to locate it on the map, label it in BLACK, underline it in BLUE if it was a Union victory or GRAY if it was a Confederate victory. In addition, annotate the marked battles with no more than 15 words of a description - make them the key words you need to know. Follow the rest of the directions carefully. Your maps will be evaluated on COMPLETENESS, NEATNESS, AND ACCURACY. Use your textbook for help, and this great National Geographic Civil War map site - it's an electronic version of the maps I have in my classroom. These animated maps may help as well - Battle of Gettysburg 1863 and The Confederacy Falls 1863–1865 . I also created a voicethread that could/should help.
