Middle School Counseling

The counseling program is designed to help students reach their full potential. The school counselors are available to help students work through the challenges that they face as they move through Middle School. Academic issues that the counseling program deals with include stress, academic pressure, test anxiety, motivation, academic goal-setting, organizational skills, and study strategies.

Other issues that the counselors help students work through include peer relationships, depression, family conflicts, drug and alcohol abuse, eating disorders, illness, grief and loss, and coping with change. Assessment, short-term counseling, support groups, and referral services are available through the school’s two counselors.
