Welcome to University School Milwaukee’s Middle School web
site. We are a community of learners with a shared vision. Our challenging,
exploratory and integrative curriculum is taught by teams of nurturing educators
committed to young adolescents. Our academic program includes courses in
technology, the arts and physical education for all students and a variety of
extracurricular activities which help students develop their creativity, ability
to work with others, and opportunities to experience new things.
We realize that middle level learners require different
learning approaches, and we strive to make sure that each child in our community
is seen and valued as an individual. To that end, each of our students has an
adult advocate who serves in the role as an advisor. Our community is based on a
Common Trust expressed in the following pledge:
We, the members of the
University School community, accept the Common Trust: We agree to relate to one
another and the school with respect, trust, honesty, fairness, and kindness.
It is our goal to develop the strongest
possible school culture grounded on the Common Trust. Thank you for visiting our
site!
