Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 - ELECTION DAY - don't forget that tomorrow is a  Big Tuesday (Wednesday) so your stock report for Week #4 is due. Please read the Sarah Peters Credit Card Debt article and answer the following questions ( you can write them on the article or a piece of paper)
1. When did Sarah's Credit Card problems really begin?
2. What was the difference between the American Express Card and the Mastercard?
3. What two things did Sarah Peters LOVE to do?
4. How deep in debt was Sarah? At this point in time she was no longer able to even pay her____?
5. In the end, what did Sarah resolve to do? Result?

Monday, April 6th, 2009 - Two things: First, go to the HistoryBlog and follow the instructions for the Pilgrim/Mayflower homework. Second, you were given a historical document today in class  - the first residents of Jamestown. You were to take a few minutes to examine the document. You are to type/word process your observations of the document. What is your take on it? What is it you see/think/feel? There is no right or wrong okay? but bring your observation with you tomorrow.

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 - Two things: First, go to the HistoryBlog and follow the instructions for the next assignment using that Pilgrim/Mayflower website. Just follow the directions on the blog. Second, you were given a copy of the Mayflower Compact in class - your task is to translate what they are saying in their way (17th century English) to our modern way (21st century). What are they saying in this document? That is all........
