The concert events listed below are OPTIONAL.  Sign-ups and first rehearsals will be well advertised.  Watch the halls for posters and listen for lunch announcements.  You only need to be at these performances if you have VOLUNTEERED to do so.

Tuesday, December 12 ~ All-School Holiday Concert ~ MS Gym ~ 6:30 pm

For 7^th and 8^th graders

Saturday, March 3 ~ District Solo & Ensemble Festival ~ Wauwatosa ~ All day

For 5^th – 8^th graders

Friday, April 27 ~ Middle School Fine Arts Night ~ Entire MS ~ 6:30 pm

Music Extracurriculars

For 7^th and 8^th graders

Middle School Honors Choir

For the motivated student who loves to sing.  Meets after school weekly.  Sings a wide variety of music at a more advanced level than in-school chorus.  Participates in a number of special events.

For 5^th – 8^th graders

Recess Guitar Workshop

Every Friday in the music room during recess, drop in and learn how to play some songs on the guitar.  Learn some new songs or chords, work on your skills with friends.  Very informal, and complete beginners are welcome.

For 5^th – 8^th graders

Middle School Musical

For students looking to combine drama with music and who love to perform in front of an audience.  A strong commitment to this extracurricular is required.  Auditions are usually in March.  Performances on May 11 and 12.
