4. _____  Reread the “Shiloh Project Rubric.”  (Evaluation sheet)

 

5. _____  Choose a problem/goal for your sequel, write it neatly on a piece of loose leaf paper, and hand it in to your composition teacher by Thursday.

 

6. _____   Get the “okay” to start on your graphic organizer from your composition teacher.

 

7. _____   Complete your graphic organizer.  (Your number of events may vary from the number of spaces listed for the events on the graphic organizer.)

 

8. _____   Check to see if your composition teacher needs to “okay” your graphic organizer.

 

9. _____     Begin your story on the computer.  Have your graphic organizer next to you as you type.

 

10. _____   Be prepared to turn in parts of your draft along the way.

 

11. _____   Complete the first rough draft.

 

12. _____  Check the Organization and Ideas  and Voice sections of the Shiloh Project Rubric against your draft and make the appropriate changes.

 

13. _____   Check the Conventions section of the Shiloh Project Rubric against your draft and make the appropriate changes. 

 

14. _____  Check the Extra section of the Shiloh Project Rubric and follow accordingly.
